I've been using this product for a very long time and had always been happy with the results. However, when I purchased it recently, it did not smell the same. Although it is for sensitive skin and fragrance free, it smelled very much like sunscreen. My eyes burned and my face broke out in a rash. It left my face feeling dry instead of soft. I contacted OLAY and they brushed me off, saying it was a new formula and what happened to me was unlikely to happen and their products were tested. They sent me a coupon to try another product of theirs. I had been using the same product for over 25 years. They didn't take my complaint seriously. Well, they just lost another customer. I switched to Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin and am very pleased with my new choice. Maybe if enough customers express their feedback about this new and improved product, they will learn to listen to customer feedback instead of brushing us off like what we have to say doesn't matter.

I contacted Olay about their atrocious new formula and here's the response:

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this with the Olay Complete UV. I am happy to let you know that Olay will re-launch the original version of Olay Complete All Day Sensitive SPF 15 Sensitive Cream and Lotion! This will be widely available in April 2010 and will say "Classic Gentle Formula". Although our newest formula with Skin Shield technology is safe and has strong UV protection, we realize the original sensitive version with its gentle formula better meets the needs of our Complete Sensitive users.

The good old Olay moisture lotion will be back soon!

A couple of months ago, I purchased what I thought was my normal moisturizer. After using it, I noticed a sunscreen smell and wasn't happy about that, and then I realized that it was making my eyes burn. I kept trying to use it, and it didn't improve. I pulled my old bottle out of the garbage and realized that they had changed the formula. I discovered that the generic store brand used the same active ingredients as the old formula but was still unhappy with the texture and smell.

I have been using this moisturizer for almost 20 years. Nothing compared. Most have a smell and hurt my sensitive skin, so I was extremely disappointed that they changed the formula.

So, I go to search online about the change in the formula today, and discover that there are other people just as unhappy as me about the change! I looked on Olay's website, and they posted this:

Six months ago my wife and I tried Olay's Eye Restoration Complex. It was part of a package of three Olay products designed to combat aging (wrinkles, under eye "bags", age lines). We are both in our mid sixties and healthy. Of the three products in the package we bought, we found that the Eye Restoration worked extremely well after using it for three to four weeks. The swelling and dark circles under our eyes nearly disappeared. We were surprised because we have markedly different skin tones (she is very fair and blond and I am Eurasian). We also found that buying this product at Amazon saved us about 23% from the price available at CVS or Target where we usually shop.

I like the entire Pro X line and consider this product to be the best. You need to apply only a small amount to see results. I am in my 50's and this product definitely softens the wrinkles and makes the eye area look more toned- with or without makeup. I have purchased this product 3 times and will definetly buy again.

I really like this new eye cream by Olay. I get puffy eyes in the morning with a blue cast. In the evening I used the eye cream and in the morning I had no puffiness and underneath my eye looked looked lighter with very little blue. After trying many different eye creams including different ones by Olay, this is the one I am sticking with. I have been using this product for over 2 weeks now and am very happy with the results. As far as wrinkles though, I haven't noticed that big of an improvement. But I do think my eyes do look more youthful, so I guess it is helping with wrinkles but I was more concerned with the puffiness and blue cast. Now, if I can only find a great neck cream!

I had been using some the more inexpensive Olay products but decided I might need something more powerful after noticing some changes in my 50+ years old skin. I noticed it was getting dry in spots and fine lines were showing up more, there were also some slight areas of discoloration, most likely from the sun. I purchased this particular product because of the price, the rebate offered at the time and my familiarity with the Olay line. The only thing it doesn't have in it is a night cream which I had to purchase separately and don't ever go without.

I have been using the product for about 4 weeks now and have stopped using the daytime tinted moisuritizer or the proper name is "color recapture". I just do not like the combination of a lightweight foundation and moisturizer in one. I also don't like the smell, which I can acutally smell throughout the day. If you have sensitive skin and are prone to rosacea or acne this product is NOT for you. I broke out in a horrible rash and had to got seek medical attention. It is a great deal from a great company but is not made for those with skin problems.
